About Us

Debbie Payne has been a chef, caterer, gardener and businesswoman.

She studied catering and institutional management at college before working in a number of cooking-related jobs. She lives in Oxfordshire and her working life has taken her to Switzerland, America and now back to the UK.

In early 2018, she founded Two Jolly Cooks, to run alongside her gardening business. She works for her own pleasure, for her family and she finds cooking therapeutic.

Debbie also occasionally works alongside Maz Darrow-Bland who worked as a chef in the RAF for 18 years. Cooking in all 3 messes, field catering and mass catering in the Falklands, for VIP dignities, MPs and HRH Queen Elizabeth II.  She is now DT and Food Tech at Burford School in Oxfordshire.
